CMES, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on Georgia-based projects. You will coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, plan interpretation, and effective communication with project teams and clients. Project-based work in a fast-paced environment offers growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role.
• Experience leading roadway, grading, utilities, concrete, bridge, or DOT projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications; strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations from project start through closeout.
• Develop and communicate daily work plans and production goals.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor schedules and drive production to meet milestones.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance with OSHA and company policies.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
