Job summary

C.W. Matthews Contracting Co., Inc. is seeking a seasoned Heavy Highway Superintendent to lead complex transportation and roadway projects across Georgia.

You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, surveyors, and inspectors, review plans and specs, plan manpower and equipment, and stand up daily safety meetings to promote a culture of safety while meeting production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Heavy Highway Superintendent experience (preferred).
• Proven experience and professionalism managing DOT highway projects.
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, concrete, paving, utilities, and traffic control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards (OSHA 30 Hour certification preferred).

Responsibilities
