Job summary

Granite Construction is looking for a seasoned Scheduler for heavy civil projects. You will lead planning efforts, develop baselines, and produce CPM schedules with resources and costs. You will interface with stakeholders, prepare narratives, and integrate multiple tools to drive on-time delivery.

The role supports federal pursuits and complex projects, requiring 10+ years of scheduling experience, strong CPM skills, and proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or comparable discipline.
• 10+ years of full-time construction-related planning and scheduling experience.
• Strong knowledge of CPM, scheduling software, and contract language.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and scheduling functions to meet operational needs.
• Develop baseline schedules aligned with sequencing and milestones.
• Create CPM schedules with resource and cost loads for reporting.
• Prepare schedule narratives for formal client submissions.
• Integrate multiple scheduling tools into cohesive plans.
• Update CPM schedules reflecting requirements and risks.
• Prepare weekly TIAs, updates, and reconciliations for monthly submissions.
• Support development of company-wide planning guidance and training.
• Communicate with stakeholders using construction sequencing expertise.
• Support federal pursuits with proposal schedules and narratives.
