Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC, based in Southern California, seeks a Senior Project Manager for heavy civil infrastructure projects across the region. The role leads complex ventures from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring safety, profitability, and on-schedule delivery with collaboration from field leadership.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in heavy civil and 5+ years in PM, plus a background with self-perform scopes like utilities, earthwork, grading, asphalt, and concrete.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive heavy civil construction experience.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience on heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong background working for a self-performing heavy civil contractor.
• Experience delivering California public works, transportation, railroad, municipal, or utility infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project financial performance including budget, revenue, gross margin, cash flow, forecasting, and profitability.
• Create and maintain cost-to-complete forecasts and monthly projections.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to plan schedules, manpower, equipment, and sequencing.
• Identify risks, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and ensure safety and quality.
• Lead project meetings and communicate schedule, cost, risk, and performance.
• Mentor Project Managers and team members; build lasting client relationships.
