Job summary

Silver Star Construction Co. is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead highway and heavy civil projects across the OKC Metro and surrounding areas, from handoff through completion.

You will oversee safety, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, materials, subcontractors, and client communications, coordinating with field supervision, estimating, and safety teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of project management experience preferred in heavy civil or highway construction
• High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred but not required
• Valid driving record with 5 points or fewer
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, HCSS products, and Vista by Viewpoint
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and quality as top priorities on every project
• Serve as primary contact for project-related safety concerns
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to stay on schedule and within budget
• Coordinate with estimators to review costs and change orders
• Prepare and maintain project progress reports and documentation
• Represent the company at project meetings and with clients and subcontractors
• Coordinate procurement of materials and ensure plans, specs, and contracts are understood by all parties
