Jacobs is seeking a Heavy Civil Senior Estimator to support projects in the Eastern United States with hybrid work options. You will develop capital cost estimates for transportation and transit projects, review contractor proposals, and interface with clients on capital costs.

The role requires extensive heavy civil estimating experience and proficiency with MS Office, HCSS HeavyBid, and BlueBeam. The base salary range is $130,000 to $170,000, determined by location and experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive estimating and construction experience related to heavy civil construction.
• Progressive and successful cost estimating experience in transportation projects.
• Proficient use of MS Office products, HCSS (HeavyBid) estimating software and BlueBeam.

Aufgaben

• Develop capital cost estimates for transportation/transit projects.
• Review contractor proposals for various procurement types.
• Review and validate change orders.
• Interface with external clients in the presentation of capital costs.
• Maintain organized and detailed files, project records, and logs.
• Attend project meetings as required.
