Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a Project Manager for Heavy Civil Construction to lead mid-to-large scale projects across Southern Central states. This role reports to the Operations Manager and manages budgets, schedules, and coordination with design teams and subcontractors.

Initial assignment is Ardmore, Oklahoma with responsibilities for safety, permits, and contingency planning. Requires travel, background check, and security clearance as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CM or related field, or 5+ years of comparable experience.
• 5–8 years of heavy civil design-build project experience across design, approvals, procurement, construction, and implementation.
• Regular, predictable attendance and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Manage mid to large scale heavy civil projects with moderate to high risk.
• Oversee multiple projects in varying stages of completion.
• Coordinate with Construction Ops Manager to align project performance with goals.
• Implement Corporate Safety Policy on all assigned projects.
• Mentor Assistant PMs, Project Engineers and project teams.
• Prepare budgets and progress/cost tracking reports.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Direct and supervise field personnel and subcontractors as needed.
• Review owner contracts and project estimates at design phases (30%, 60%, etc.).
• Coordinate with design engineers for constructability reviews.
