Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager – Heavy Civil Construction to join our growing construction division. This role will travel to projects across Southern Central states and report to the Operations Manager, directing mid to large-scale heavy civil projects from planning through closeout.

Initial assignment is in Ardmore, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of heavy civil design-build experience, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage budgets, schedules,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CM or related field or minimum of 5 years experience.
• 5+ years of heavy civil design-build project experience managing all aspects from design, approvals, procurement, construction, and implementation.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Ability to get along and work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Manage mid to large scale projects with moderate to high risk.
• Coordinate with Construction Operations Manager to align project performance with goals.
• Implement Corporate Safety Policy on all projects assigned.
• Mentor and guide Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Develop Work Plans and schedule projects in logical steps.
• Prepare budgets and cost tracking reports; monitor expenditures.
