Corewell Health is seeking a Senior Underwriter in Grand Rapids to assess risk and determine competitive premium rates for Large Group Commercial. You will coordinate proposals, analyze data, and ensure compliant, financially sound pricing aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of underwriting experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Provider-based carrier experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess employer risk and develop rates for fully-insured accounts within community rating guidelines.
• Audit cases for compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Maintain renewal and prospective files to support accurate premium rate development.
• Coordinate self-funded proposals and renewals with sales and carriers.
• Prepare financial exhibits showing benefits, cost savings and projected costs.
• Interact with brokers/agents to resolve pricing questions and support client presentations.
