Job summary

Nordic Global is seeking a Senior Consultant - Technical to join our healthcare consulting team on a W2 hourly contract. You will partner with healthcare clients to design, implement, and support technical solutions that improve clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities include serving as a trusted technical advisor, leading implementations, translating requirements, providing lifecycle support, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Health Informatics or equivalent.
• 3+ years as technical consultant or similar client-facing role.
• Experience with healthcare organizations (hospitals, payers, providers).
• Strong skills in EHR systems, HL7/FHIR, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), APIs, data pipelines, scripting languages (Python/SQL).
• Excellent problem-solving and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Exceptional communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of HIPAA/HITECH and healthcare data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to healthcare clients and deliver technical solutions.
• Lead implementation and configuration of software systems and data integrations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specs and coordinate with product teams.
• Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle from discovery through deployment.
• Manage client communications, timelines, and expectations for high-quality outcomes.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and data anomalies with a problem-solving mindset.
• Support documentation, diagrams, and training materials for clients.
• Stay current on healthcare trends, regulations, and health IT best practices.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Customer Success.
