The Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation seeks a Healthcare & Commercial Transactions Senior Counsel to advise on technology, procurement, IP, and contracting across JHHS and affiliates. You will drive complex negotiations with a focus on strategic and regulatory alignment.

You will support IT, Supply Chain, Finance and HR functions, draft templates, and lead negotiations for SaaS, licensing, and equipment contracts, enabling compliant, value-driven transactions.

Qualificações

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the Maryland Bar or eligible to practice in Maryland or Florida.
• Ten years of related or relevant experience, including seven years of legal practice as a licensed attorney.
• At least five years in leadership responsibilities such as managing projects or leading teams.

Responsabilidades

• Reviewing, analyzing, drafting and negotiating complex agreements relating to acquisition, licensing and implementation of technology including SaaS and IaaS.
• Supporting technology commercialization initiatives including outbound licensing arrangements.
• Reviewing, analyzing, drafting and negotiating complex agreements relating to the procurement of products, services and equipment supporting the health system Supply Chain.
• Providing legal support for transactions needs of clients across health system entities, including templates, risk assessment, training and education.
• Oversight of copyright, trademark and intellectual property matters.
• Developing practical solutions to legal and contractual issues and applying policies to facts.
• Advising clients on interaction of contractual relationships with regulatory/licensure requirements and federal anti-kickback concerns.
