Qualifications

• 2 years of Law Enforcement/Security/Military experience, or healthcare security in a related setting, plus 1 year in a Providence security department and passage of the SO2 promotion test and oral board.
• 5 years: external candidates with similar background and passage of the Security Department SO2 test and oral board within 6 months.
• Driving may be necessary; proof of driver license and auto insurance may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Receive direction from Security Manager/Supervisor and perform full performance level protective duties to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from risks and unlawful entry; enforce policies.
