Job summary

Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking multiple full-time Security Officer positions for variable shifts. You will protect patients, visitors, staff and facilities, enforce hospital policies, monitor access, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Ideal candidates bring 1 year of security/military experience or 2 years in healthcare settings, and may be asked to drive; a valid driver license and auto insurance must be provided if requested.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Law Enforcement/Security/Military experience or 2 years of healthcare setting experience or related coursework
• Driving may be required; must provide valid driver license and auto insurance upon request

Responsibilities

• Protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from harm and theft
• Investigate incidents, detain individuals when necessary, and assist police as directed
• Respond to emergencies and provide protective services in high-risk areas
