Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or healthcare related field preferred.
• ARM or Diplomat/CPHRM certification preferred.
• Five years clinical/management experience in a multidisciplinary health care setting including at least two years in risk management in acute care preferred.
• Experience in risk management and/or professional liability claims management preferred.
• Knowledge of current state laws and regulations applicable to facility.

Responsibilities

• Design, organize, coordinate, and implement the Risk Management Program to minimize loss and protect assets.
• Participate in performance improvement data collection, activities, and trend analysis.
• Assist with claims investigation, management, and litigation support.
• Facilitate reporting of safety data/events and risk-related activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on problem identification, cost containment, and implementation of new services and systems.
