Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking a Risk Manager to lead risk management strategies and ensure patient safety in a healthcare setting. You will oversee risk assessments, investigations, and reporting, while guiding compliance and staff education.

A strong leader with regulatory knowledge will help shape proactive risk programs and budget oversight. The role requires collaboration across departments, implementation of policies, and ongoing training to maintain high safety standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; two+ years' related experience in lieu allowed.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of related field experience with Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and evaluates departmental performance to meet risk management and quality goals.
• Develops, implements, and monitors policies and procedures for risk management; ensures regulatory alignment.
• Collaborates with other departments to identify risk issues and coordinate improvements.
• Oversees risk assessments, investigations, and internal reporting; ensures timely responses.
• Educates staff on risk management, patient safety, and incident reporting; promotes a culture of safety.
