Job summary

Oak Street Health, part of CVS Health, is seeking a Sr Analyst for Revenue Cycle Analytics to leverage data in driving insights and reporting. The role collaborates across Population Health and BI teams, supporting claims analysis, data integrity, and coding accuracy.

The role reports to the Executive Director of Revenue Cycle Operations within Population Health and requires a strong background in healthcare data, Excel, and Epic reporting tools. Full-time, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years’ experience in health care revenue cycle and/or population health reporting.
• 2+ years of consulting or other applicable experience in healthcare / population health.
• Basic understanding of Medicare and Medicare Advantage insurance plans.
• Analytical and data savvy; highly proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient Epic data reporting using Slicer Dicer, Workbench and Database query (SQL and/or BigQuery).
• Strong interpersonal skills that support effective stakeholder engagement.
• Strong written communication skills; highly proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Supports high-impact reporting initiatives spanning claims analysis, demographic data integrity and coding accuracy.
• Analyze data from EMR software and internal databases to create meaningful reports.
• Identify trends that could lead to process improvements and review with management.
• Summarize and synthesize large amounts of information clearly.
• Develop business cases, ROI analysis, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams within Population Health and corporate groups.
• Maintain accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables.
• Adapt to changing procedures in a growing environment.
• Excel in delivering high-quality work and meeting objectives.
• Handle ambiguity with quick learning and initiative.
