Job summary

HOK seeks an experienced Senior Project Architect for its Healthcare practice in Houston. The role focuses on managing projects from conception through construction, ensuring alignment with client vision and industry best practices. You will lead design development, coordinate disciplines, and drive technical excellence.

Responsibilities include overseeing construction phase services, QA, and team leadership. A license is required, with BIM proficiency and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required.
• Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required.
• 10+ years' experience on healthcare projects in the U.S. preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design intent is incorporated into detailed documentation.
• Coordinate with disciplines, consultants, and project teams.
• Lead project teams and mentor junior staff.
• Oversee QA reviews and adherence to standards.
• Socialize construction phase deliverables with clients and authorities.
