Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey seeks a product-focused professional to design and enhance health care products across market segments. You will lead product development initiatives and collaborate with Sales, IT, and healthcare management to align with corporate goals.

The role requires five years of healthcare product development experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a track record of cross-functional teamwork to drive product strategy and market success.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.
• Requires minimum of five (5) years experience in product development, marketing, marketing technology, health and wellness (Consumerism only).
• Requires minimum of five (5) years experience in healthcare industry and/or healthcare product development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance products across market segments.
• Serve as Product SME and guide implementation and management of products.
• Research refining existing products and evaluating new ones.
• Builds/maintains relationships with internal teams and external parties to shape product strategy.
• Analyze product performance, utilization and profitability to guide actions.
• Monitor competition to ensure optimal product positioning.
• Support cross-functional teams with information needs (RFPs) for strategic goals.
• Maintain product portfolio and perform product maintenance.
