Job summary

Gainwell Technologies LLC is seeking an Experienced Project Manager to lead complex Medicaid/Medicare programs and COB projects. You will coordinate multi-team efforts, build schedules and budgets, and drive timely, high-quality results for health and human service clients.

You will mentor staff, communicate with executives, and contribute to proposals and business development while ensuring program milestones are met across all phases.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience managing complex projects through a full life cycle, with 3+ years Medicaid/Medicare preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Payment Integrity COB Audit and Recovery.
• 8+ years in healthcare, preferably in a claim payment or audit recovery environment.
• PMP certification required.
• Experience with integrated eligibility systems, MMIS, or Human Services platforms preferred.
• Ability to translate program objectives into clear scope and milestones.
• Leadership to mentor junior colleagues and guide teams.
• Strong executive presenter with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Project Manage multiple COB projects, driving accelerated implementation growth.
• Lead one or more large project management teams and staff development.
• Spearhead project planning, tracking, and oversight with deadlines for quality delivery.
• Communicate with client and project leadership; measure metrics and adjust programs as needed.
• Create schedules, budgets, and objectives to ensure deliverables across phases.
• Escalate risks and implement mitigation strategies across non-direct reports.
• Support growth by assisting with proposals, business development, and process improvements.
