Job summary

Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center is seeking a supervisory administrative professional to lead the department within NYC Health + Hospitals. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health care related field with 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of health care experience.
• Equivalency: education and experience substituted for credits with HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates administrative aspects of the department.
• Consults with medical staff to plan and coordinate objectives.
• Plans, develops, and conducts staff training programs.
• Allocates staff based on workload and equipment availability.
• Coordinates research projects and special studies for program evaluation.
• Directs processing of orders for equipment and supplies.
• Ensures compliance policies are current and followed.
• Supervises office administration and record keeping activities.
• Oversees employee supervision, performance and development.
• Publishes operational manuals and procedures.
• Applies ICARE values in daily operations.
