Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company seeking an Integration Engineer to support customer interface design, training, and validation across healthcare systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement BD products, ensure hospital workflow alignment, and maintain project documentation, while traveling as needed to client sites. A bachelor’s degree and HL7/EDI knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education and work experience.
• Knowledge of HIS integration systems, BD products and hospital workflow.
• Three or more years in healthcare environment with technical involvement and knowledge of HL7 and EDI standards.
• Experience with integrated delivery networks/multi-facility health systems required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in meetings / conference calls with customers to facilitate interface design, training, and validation.
• Establish rapport with customers that is conducive to long-term business relationships.
• Provide team support and in-depth product information on BD products as assigned by manager.
• Interact with customer teams, gain consensus, and deliver concise communication.
• Consult Senior/Principal Integration Engineers as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate account backups and documentation.
