Job summary

Shields Health Solutions seeks an Implementation Director to lead complex healthcare transformation engagements for specialty pharmacy programs. You will guide strategic consulting, operations transformation, project leadership, and client relationships from contract through go-live and optimization.

You will partner with executive stakeholders, manage multiple workstreams, and drive outcomes across operations, technology, and workforce planning while traveling about half the time.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of consulting, transformation, implementation, or healthcare operations experience.
• Proven success leading large-scale, client-facing engagements with executive stakeholders.
• Experience managing multiple complex workstreams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive communication skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the executive owner and primary point of accountability for complex specialty pharmacy implementation engagements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite, VP, and Director-level stakeholders.
• Lead executive steering committee meetings, project reviews, and operational status discussions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, workstreams, milestones, and governance structures across multiple implementations.
• Identify risks, remove obstacles, and drive accountability across internal and client teams.
• Manage multiple complex workstreams in fast-paced environments.
