Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas is seeking a skilled facilities technician responsible for advanced repair, preventive maintenance, and documenting maintenance across equipment and systems to keep hospital operations safe and reliable.

You will support staff on complex work orders, develop material lists, and train coworkers while maintaining positive relationships with management, patients, and vendors.

Formación

• Must have four years of experience in general building maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting, drywall repair and equipment maintenance.
• Prefer healthcare environment experience.
• Prefer Journeyman Plumbing or Electrical licensure or trade school certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced repair, preventive maintenance, and documentation on equipment to ensure safety and operability.
• Assist staff on repair, maintenance, and preventive work orders across Parkland Health System to keep equipment safe and operational.
• Process work requests to address facility issues promptly and effectively.
• Own assigned tasks and ensure timely completion, representing the Facilities/Engineering Services department.
• Assist with training of new staff and provide literature/information to aid repair and operation of equipment.
• Develop material lists for jobs/work orders and obtain management approval for procurement.
• Maintain positive working relationships with management, patients, employees, contractors, and vendors to improve department performance.
• Handle department projects as assigned and perform other duties as needed.
