Parkland Health System seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform advanced repair, preventive maintenance, and documentation across hospital equipment to keep systems safe and operational.

Candidates should have at least four years in building maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting) and prefer healthcare experience; Journeyman licensure or trade certification is a plus. On-site role at Parkland Health Campus.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum four years of general building maintenance experience.
• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Journeyman plumbing or electrical licensure or trade school certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintain and repair equipment across Parkland Health System to ensure safety and operability.
• Assist with advanced repair, preventive maintenance tasks and documentation.
• Own assigned tasks and ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
• Assist Parkland staff with use and repair of equipment; serve as a resource with literature and information.
• Assist with new employee training as needed.
• Develop material lists for jobs/work orders and submit requests for management approval.
• Maintain positive working relationships with management, patients, employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Responsible for department projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
