Job summary

Yona is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to oversee housekeeping and laundry in a skilled nursing facility. You will coordinate staff, train workers, and ensure sanitary, safe, and well-supplied environments to maintain high-quality care.

The role requires a four-year degree (or equivalent) and experience in healthcare housekeeping supervision, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills. In addition, you’ll manage scheduling, budgeting, and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree required or strongly desired.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in healthcare environment and supervision helpful.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and quality attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals and objectives.
• Proficient with Windows-based office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures.
• Plans, organizes, directs and supervises department functions and activities.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and orderly.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, and personnel.
• Coordinates with other departments to ensure housekeeping activities.
• Manages a cost-effective program to budget and quality controls.
