Job summary

Yona is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead housekeeping and laundry operations in a skilled nursing facility, ensuring a clean, sanitary, and compliant environment that supports high-quality resident care.

You will plan, organize, direct, and supervise staff, manage scheduling, budgets, and relationships with residents and other departments to promote satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent experience strongly desired.
• Two years experience in healthcare housekeeping with supervision is desired.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service and quality attitude.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and work all shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises functions and activities of the departments.
• Maintains an environment that is sanitary, attractive and in orderly condition.
• Forecasts and plans the purchase of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services are rendered.
• Maintains required records including inventory, compliance, and personnel records.
• Maintains department to be survey-ready at all times, within regulations.
