Job summary

Yona is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to plan, organize, and direct housekeeping and laundry operations within a skilled nursing facility. The role requires coordinating with all facility staff to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment that supports high-quality resident care.

You will supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, implement procedures, manage supplies and budgets, and promote resident satisfaction while meeting federal, state, and local standards.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Two years experience in healthcare housekeeping with supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and quality mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and/orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department activities.
• Maintains a sanitary, attractive and orderly environment.
• Forecasts and plans supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Plans staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, and personnel records.
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and cost-effective budgeting.
• Ensures the department remains survey-ready and compliant.
