Job summary

SJS Executives, LLC (SJS), also doing business as SJS Industrial, seeks an experienced Electrical Healthcare Engineer for full‑time work in El Paso, TX. Responsible for management of electrical, EMS, and low‑voltage systems within a VA hospital project, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires extensive hospital electrical experience, VA standards knowledge, and strong leadership in project management, contracting, and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of hospital/healthcare electrical systems experience.
• Minimum 10 years supporting electrical systems in acute care environments.
• Experience with VA standards (PG-18-10) and regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating A/E and construction contracts; strong project management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for electrical power, emergency power, and low-voltage systems in a medical center.
• Lead design, design review, construction, and turnover for projects per VA standards.
• Manage A/E and construction contracts to ensure schedules and specs.
• Oversee commissioning, tests, and acceptance of electrical and security systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff.
