Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health is seeking an experienced project leader for advanced management of planning, design, and construction of major capital initiatives at the Leprino Building AMC in Aurora. You will oversee scope, schedule, and budget across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality facilities.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a relevant field and 7 years of progressive experience, with healthcare planning/design experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or relevant field.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Leads major capital projects, typically > $30M, and guides other project managers assigned, with overall responsibility for the project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develops, implements, and manages strategies for competitive bidding and negotiating of complex contracts with architecture, engineering, and construction firms.
• Leads and resolves complex project issues independently regarding healthcare regulations, codes, FGI standards, and evaluates design/construction changes.
• Directs the design and construction process with senior executives, user groups, and owner/architect/contractor meetings.
