Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking an experienced project manager to serve as the owner representative across complex facility renovation, expansion or new construction projects. You will lead cross-functional teams of engineers, architects and contractors to meet design, quality, schedule and budget goals.

Responsibilities include developing scopes, monitoring performance indicators, interfacing with executive leadership, and ensuring compliance with design standards and contract

Qualifications

• Degree with 6 years of healthcare or academic design/construction experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads project teams; teaches, mentors and coaches project managers
• Develops, organizes, leads and supports teams internally and externally
• Manages scope, budget and schedule for high-complexity projects or portfolios
• Interfaces with executive leadership and adapts departmental strategies
• Acts as owner representative through design & construction processes
• Develops benchmarking and performance indicators; produces project documentation
• Procures and manages external resources; applies current PM methodologies and legal considerations
• Reads and interprets design documents; supports design standards development
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education

B.A./B.S. in Health Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline
