Job summary

HarmonyCares is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to translate complex healthcare business needs into scalable data solutions. You will work with clinical, operational, and analytics stakeholders to design data pipelines, APIs, and dashboards that drive insight and action.

Applicants should have 5+ years in healthcare data, strong SQL and Python/Scala, and experience with Azure (Databricks), REST APIs, and BI tools like Power BI/Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with healthcare data in a data engineering/analytics/solutions role.
• Experience with claims and clinical datasets (payer/provider).
• Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Experience building and maintaining APIs (REST, JSON).
• Strong understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, ICD, CPT, SNOMED).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one language such as Python or Scala.
• Proven ability to create Power BI/Tableau dashboards and data models.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex healthcare business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and analytics stakeholders to design data pipelines, APIs, and dashboards.
• Build and iterate data assets supporting analytics and BI.
• Develop RESTful APIs and semantic BI models for end users.
• Ensure data quality, performance, security, and scalability.
