Job summary

Mazzatech is seeking a creative Data Scientist / AIML Engineer to join the Healthcare Data Science team. You will develop ML solutions on large-scale medical data for disease detection and patient outcomes, and translate client requirements into production analytics deliverables.

You will contribute to AI/ML enablement proofs of concept, partner with engineering and product to productionize solutions, and support client engagements with clear communication and innovative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience creating ML algorithms in healthcare/pharma.
• Experience with large real-world datasets (US claims, EMR).
• Experience mentoring junior ML engineers.
• Proficiency in Python to support ML and ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of coding practices and Git version control.
• Excellent communication skills to present to clients and stakeholders.
• Proactive, innovative, and cross-functional problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML solutions on large-scale medical data for disease detection and patient outcomes.
• Translate client requirements for patient identification and HCP targeting into production analytics.
• Produce proofs-of-concept to enhance offerings for healthcare and pharma clients.
• Collaborate with engineering and product to productionize scalable data science solutions.
• Present technical concepts to non-technical audiences and contribute to proposals.
