Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years healthcare accounting experience.
• Progressive leadership experience within accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with cost accounting and complex allocation methodologies.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and provide actionable business insights.
• Proven success implementing process improvements and strengthening controls.
• Hands-on leadership style with attention to details.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Drive process improvements and document procedures.
• Strengthen internal controls and GAAP adherence.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff across levels.
• Manage financial reporting and analysis for a multi-department org.
• Oversee revenue recognition and timely reporting.
• Analyze historical data for trends and insights.
• Support cost accounting, allocations, and profitability analysis.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and statements.
• Collaborate with finance leadership to improve reporting and efficiency.
• Assist with system enhancements and automation initiatives.
