Job summary

Precise Behavioral Inc., a scalable behavioral healthcare platform, seeks a Controller to build an institutional‑grade finance function across multi‑state operations. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead close processes, multi‑entity accounting, inter‑company, and KPI reporting, partnering with operations and revenue cycle to improve visibility and controls.

The ideal candidate has 10–15+ years in accounting/finance within venture/PE‑backed healthcare, CPA/MACC preferred, and strong GAAP

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA/MACC strongly preferred.
10–15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in healthcare.
Controller or Assistant Controller experience in fast‑growing healthcare business.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with speed, accuracy, and scalability.
Build and manage a disciplined accounting function across multiple entities and states.
Oversee AP/AR, payroll, GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Manage inter‑company accounting and consolidation within PC/MSO structures.
Partner with operations and revenue cycle to improve cash flow visibility.
Establish KPI‑driven reporting and operational accountability.
Oversee tax filings across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Coordinate annual audit with external auditors and prepare supporting schedules.
Improve financial controls to meet institutional‑quality reporting standards.
