Job summary

The Hagerman Group is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead healthcare construction efforts on-site, coordinating with owners, architects, and contractors to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery within budget.

The ideal candidate brings 9+ years in field construction with at least 4 years in supervision, strong ability to read plans, cost awareness, and proficiency with PM software such as Procore.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in progressive field construction with 4+ years in supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge across mechanical/electrical trades.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Understanding of project finances and cost control.
• Proficient with PM software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
• Experience with contract administration and RFI processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day on-site operations of commercial construction projects, including scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Supervise construction staff and subcontractors, ensuring work meets design specs and standards.
• Coordinate with PMs, architects, engineers, and clients to set timelines and report progress.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and address issues.
• Promote a culture of safety on the job site.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient use of materials and labor.
• Maintain daily reports, progress photos, and change orders documentation.
• Collaborate with local agencies and utilities for permits and approvals.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and tradespeople.
