Jacobs Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Healthcare Construction Manager to serve as an Owner's Representative on complex healthcare projects throughout Southern California.

This role guides project teams, influences key decisions, and helps clients deliver critical healthcare facilities efficiently and safely. You will oversee planning through completion, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget, while coordinating with contractors, inspectors, facility staff, and stakeholders and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.
• 15+ years of healthcare construction experience (ground up, complex renovation or occupied healthcare projects).
• Background as a Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, Construction Manager, or similar leadership role strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare construction, building systems, scheduling, cost controls, and project delivery.
• Experience with occupied healthcare environments, ICRA, and ILSM.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents and provide constructability reviews to identify risks, conflicts, and opportunities before construction begins.
• Oversee development and implementation of site logistics plans, phasing strategies, and operational coordination within active healthcare environments.
• Review and validate budgets, estimates, and cost forecasts.
• Monitor risks, project schedules, construction progress, and contractor performance.
• Review change orders, RFIs, and construction claims; help resolve complex project issues.
• Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, designers, facility staff, and stakeholders.
• Support ICRA, ILSM, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Perform field observations and support quality assurance/quality control efforts.
• Provide practical construction expertise and recommendations to client leadership.
