Job summary

Tiello is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex healthcare construction projects in the Phoenix area. You will manage field operations on large hospitals and renovations with budgets from $20M to $100M, coordinating trades inside active healthcare facilities to protect patients and operations.

You will develop sequencing, supervise safety and quality, and collaborate with project management to align schedules and costs while mentoring field staff.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial healthcare field supervision experience.
• Proven leadership on multiple hospital projects valued at $20M or more.
• Experience managing construction in and around active healthcare facilities.
• Strong knowledge of ICRA 2.0, infection control, life safety and phased turnover.
• Experience with operating rooms, imaging suites, ICUs, sterile processing or central utility plants.
• Familiarity with medical gas infrastructure and specialty healthcare systems.
• Strong scheduling, trade coordination and communication skills.
• LEAN Construction Certified Practitioner.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Established relationships with healthcare facility or network personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on large healthcare projects, including ground-up hospitals and major renovations.
• Develop and manage detailed sequencing, short-interval schedules and phased turnover plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trade partners in occupied healthcare environments.
• Oversee ICRA 2.0 protocols, containment systems and interim life safety measures.
• Plan critical utility shutdowns and tie-ins with facility teams.
• Drive jobsite safety, quality control and accountability.
• Partner with project management to keep schedules and costs aligned.
• Maintain strong relationships with hospital personnel, inspectors and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Mentor field staff and help improve construction processes.
