Job summary

PENTA Building Group in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Healthcare Superintendent to lead field operations on healthcare projects. You will work with the Project Manager to ensure safety, schedule, quality, and hospital compliance on site.

Responsibilities include reviewing JHAs, coordinating crane and lift plans, life-safety testing, and ensuring design documents meet codes and ADA standards while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare construction projects and reading drawings.
• Strong safety leadership and adherence to OSHA requirements.
• Ability to schedule and coordinate complex field activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on healthcare projects and coordinate with PM.
• Oversee safety culture, OSHA compliance, and hospital protocols.
• Review JHAs and ensure subs' safety plans reflect healthcare risks.
• Read designs for code/ADA compliance and resolve constructability gaps.
• Coordinate lifts, crane plans, and hoisting with safety reviews.
• Coordinate BIM/VDC meetings and resolve design flaws.
