Qualifications

• 10+ years construction experience specific to healthcare new construction projects of at least $150M+ each.
• 8+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects.
• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
• Communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to conduct effective presentations.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to apply fundamentals of construction management to projects.
• Thorough knowledge of project processes and how each supports completion.
• Ability to build relationships within a team.
• Proficiency in project management and accounting software.
• Proficiency in scheduling software.
• Ability to apply Lean process and philosophy.
• Knowledge of trades and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC for projects.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates and manages project site care and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Attends progress and OAC meetings.
• Creates and manages the project schedule with the PM.
• Tracks budget and costs using project reports.
• Communicates key project information to owners and design teams.
• Keeps project filings, logs and diaries updated.
• Approves unit costs and prepares daily/weekly reports.
• Evaluates progress of self-perform work.
• Manages materials and equipment needs.
• Supports procurement processes.
• Assists in formwork/tool selection.
• Manages timecard approvals.
• Ensures quality via specs and QA/QC.
• Supports project closeouts and pre-punch activities.
• Participates in pursuit and pre-planning.
• Staffing coordination for assigned project.
• Identifies schedule and cost changes with PM.
• Negotiates changes with owner/architect.
• Prepares and presents for project reviews and buy-out meetings.
• Understands contracts terms.
