Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Architectural Project Manager for its Buildings team in California. You will independently guide clients through planning and creating fiscally responsible, cutting-edge designs, with a strong focus on sustainable architecture and integrated design practices.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and teams, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required.
• Licensed Architect, California preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in architecture/leadership roles.
• LEED AP or LEED Green Associate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex tasks on small to large projects.
• Plan, organize, and direct work through the project lifecycle.
• Keep Principal in Charge informed on progress and approvals.
• Lead client and project team to meet budget, schedule, and design intent.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and work plans.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and coordinate with teams.
• Direct client invoicing and manage collections.
