Centene is seeking a data analytics professional to analyze integrated healthcare datasets and deliver insights to reduce cost of care and improve outcomes. The role collaborates with stakeholders, designs reports, and identifies automation opportunities.

A strong SQL background and experience with large databases are required; SAS is a plus. Master’s degree preferred with 4+ years in healthcare analytics, data verification, and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with large databases, data verification, and data management.
• Healthcare analytics experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL/querying languages.
• Preferred knowledge of Python and R.
• Knowledge of statistics, data mining, and root-cause analysis.
• Preferred knowledge of BI and visualization tools including Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Interpret and analyze data from multiple sources: claims, provider, member, and encounters data.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex scripts and reports using SQL, Excel, or other analytics tools.
• Contribute to planning and execution of large-scale projects with limited direction.
• Assist in design, testing, and implementation of process enhancements and automation opportunities.
• Identify root causes of data irregularities and present findings to leadership.
• Engage with customers and business partners to gather requirements and validate results.
• Provide technical guidance to junior analysts.
