Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a Data Scientist II for a remote role based in the United States with MO remote option. The position focuses on advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven health outcomes to support Centene’s mission.

You will design data models, perform Exploratory Data Analysis on structured and unstructured data, and build scalable analytics processes. Collaboration with analysts and presentations of results are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field with 3+ years of analytics experience, or a BA/BS with 5+ years in data science.
• Experience with data mining, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques.
• Strong knowledge of structured and unstructured data analysis and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models to predict member outcomes and impact.
• Construct analysis tools for data extraction and results storage for business needs.
• Perform exploratory data analysis on complex datasets to build key data sets.
• Evaluate experiments to monitor metrics and identify improvements.
• Present findings and help design automated analytics processes for scale.
