Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Analytics & AI organization and advance Copay Intelligence capabilities. You will design, develop, and deploy AI solutions dealing with healthcare affordability, patient access insights, and reimbursement dynamics, leveraging large-scale healthcare data to drive measurable business impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred but not required.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
6+ years of experience developing and deploying ML/AI or analytics in production.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, deployment, and improvement of AI solutions for Copay Intelligence initiatives.
Build predictive models from healthcare, claims, enrollment, and patient data.
Design scoring frameworks, recommendation engines, and decision-support systems.
Evaluate and implement modern AI methodologies including ML, DL, ensemble methods, graph analytics, and Generative AI.
Partner with data engineering and technology teams to deploy ML into production.
