Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, seeks a Consultant to elevate client interactions, advise on benefit plans, and lead as a trusted advisor. You will build and sustain relationships with clients and carriers, research plans, and drive renewal actions.

This role emphasizes strategic client management, plan analyses, and effective communication, with opportunities to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred; typically more than 5 years industry experience.
• 4+ years of health and welfare consulting experience required.
• Life, Accident and Health Insurance license is required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
• Develop and maintain ongoing client relationships; act as SME on Health & Welfare benefits.
• Manage client deliverables, delegate work to junior team members, ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare quotations and renewal information using online carrier tools; articulate funding strategies.
• Oversee open enrollment process and review employee communications.
