Job summary

Vertex is seeking an Associate Director of Health System Engagement & Congress Lead to shape strategy and drive execution for national HS congresses, speaker programs, and KTL insights in the US market. You will oversee agency partnerships, content, events, and advisory councils to support commercialization objectives for JOURNAVX.

The role requires 8+ years in healthcare/biopharma marketing or related fields, with a BA and preferably an MBA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in healthcare/biopharmaceutical marketing, consulting, agency or equivalent.
• Experience developing communications/tactics in U.S. or global marketing and managing agency efforts.
• Experience with institutional and IDN marketing and/or sales.
• Early career experience as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, strategy, and execution for HS Congress presence and activities for JOURNAVX.
• Lead strategy, content, and implementation of strategic account peer education programs.
• Recruit, contract, and manage Strategic Council for commercialization advice.
• Consolidate insights from roundtables, congress engagements, advisory boards and councils.
• Support planning and execution of strategic account led congresses.
