Job summary

Vertex Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Health System Engagement & Congress Lead to set strategy and drive execution for national Health System Congress promotions and sponsor activities within the U.S.

Commercial Pain Business Unit. The role also oversees the speaker program, peer education investments, and KTL insight initiatives, coordinating with agencies and internal teams to advance JOURNAVX adoption across large health systems and hospitals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in healthcare/biopharma marketing, consulting, or agencies.
• Experience developing communications/tactics in U.S. or global marketing and managing agency efforts.
• Experience with institutional and IDN marketing and/or sales.
• Early career experience as a strong individual contributor.
• Pharmaceutical drug launch experience preferred.
• Demonstrates strong understanding of health information technology, IDN systems, and institutional markets.
• Travel up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, strategy, and execution for Health System Congress presence (exhibit, sponsorships, booths, product theaters) for JOURNAVX in the U.S. Commercial Pain BU.
• Oversee strategy, content, and implementation of strategic account peer education programs (field speaker programs, HQ events, congresses).
• Recruit, contract, and manage Strategic Council for commercialization advice across Health Systems team.
• Consolidate insights from roundtables, congress engagements, advisory boards and councils for HS marketing.
• Support planning and execution of strategic account led congresses.
