Job summary

Pulice seeks an experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee occupational health and safety programs across one or more project sites within the district. You will analyze trends, ensure regulatory compliance and provide technical safety guidance to support construction schedules.

Responsibilities include safety orientations, training, incident analysis, permit tracking and incident mitigation while mentoring safety staff and coordinating with project teams to promote a safe working

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Safety or a related field preferred.
8+ years’ experience in construction or safety.
Experience managing construction or safety teams.
Mentoring safety professionals and building a strong internal team.
Able to provide training and learning opportunities for construction teams.
Identify onsite project safety risks and mitigate within safety standards.
Expert knowledge of construction site equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

Oversee safety program and procedures for project sites within the district.
Analyze incident trends and ensure accurate reporting of accidents and injuries.
Develop and conduct safety orientations, trainings and toolbox talks.
Ensure permits and certifications are active, documented and tracked.
Provide technical guidance on equipment needs and inspection requirements.
Oversee equipment maintenance and procurement for safety items.
Report project status and trend analyses to management.
Review DHA and participate in JHA discussions and documentation.
Create and approve worksite safety and evacuation plans, supporting emergency planning.
