Zusammenfassung

Pulice Construction, Inc. is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist in Scottsdale, AZ to promote a culture of safety, inspect sites, train crews and support compliance with health and safety programs and regulations.

You will lead daily site walks to identify risks, evaluate equipment needs, assist in incident investigations, provide first aid, and help elevate subcontractor safety programs, toolbox talks and safety performance reporting to leadership.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• 3+ years construction or safety experience required.
• Identify onsite project safety risks and mitigation within safety and project program requirements.
• Able to take on special tasks or projects with limited direction and oversight required.
• Strong multitasking and organization skills required.
• Able to take ownership for assigned tasks, as defined by supervisor.
• General knowledge of construction site equipment, methods and processes.
• Verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Growing knowledge to control or eliminate hazards following prescribed methods.

Aufgaben

• Identify, document and resolve onsite safety risks during daily site walks.
• Evaluate and identify safety equipment needs for project work and ensure availability.
• Assist in investigations and reporting of accidents, injuries or incidents to ensure timely resolutions and recommend improvements.
• Provide first aid and emergency services to onsite injuries and ensure timely care.
• Support evaluation of subcontractors and their safety programs and participate in corrective actions.
• Present toolbox talk content to project site staff as prescribed.
• Present progress of the project safety program to leadership.
