Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Senior Safety Advisor based in Pittsburgh to lead site health and safety initiatives across multiple projects. You will drive the implementation of safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and guide teams to ensure no-harm outcomes while aligning with Hatch's safety framework.

The role requires a seasoned safety professional with extensive on-site experience, strong MSHA knowledge, and excellent leadership and communication skills to support USA regions and project setups.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in health and safety with on-site major construction exposure.
• Strong knowledge of MSHA regulations for USA mine sites.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Advanced computer and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety advice, strategies, and problem solving on projects to aim for no harm.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies, management plans, and standards.
• Lead hazard analyses, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate health and safety training and reporting for the project.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and project safety objectives.
