Qualifications

• Progressively responsible statistical programming experience
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software, SAS preferred (e.g., survival analysis)
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods for health care
• Strong oral/written communication across diverse audiences
• Mentoring or supervisory experience
• Experience with Arbor Research project/contract work
• Ability to lead subprojects with minimal intervention
• Contributions to health services research or epidemiology with publications

Responsibilities

• Work with lead investigators to coordinate research development and timely completion of assignments.
• Contribute to design of analytical approaches for specific research questions.
• Develop SAS code and verify accuracy of coding and results.
• Mentor junior analysts and help implement statistical analyses.
• Prepare papers and presentations for journals and funding sources.
• Present results to biostatisticians and clinicians in public forums.
• Attend meetings and contribute to proposals for new projects.
